West End Library Garden Tour Stop

Combining talents of the staff and patrons, the West End Library has created and inviting and inventive garden. The grounds of the library are connected to the The Hartley Township complex, surrounding the gazebo is a perennial garden and the trees were planted as Sam High’s Eagle Scout project. This year the library has planted a straw bale garden. Straw bale gardening requires no soil, can be recycled, requires little weeding and can be used for fruit, vegetables and flowers.

Take time to go inside to explore their display of gardening books, learn about their upcoming programs.And enjoy the decoy carvings of Dahle Bingaman.
