Seeking Teen to Join Board of Trustees
Herr Memorial Library is seeking an energetic teen to join the library’s Board of Trustees. The library is currently in the process of renovating the basement to create a unique and exciting teen space. The selected teen board member will work with the Board of Trustees to influence what goes in that teen space, help plan teen programs and make suggestions on library services.
Becoming the teen library board member does take commitment. The teen board member will be asked to attend and participate in the monthly board meetings. The board meets at 5:30 pm on the third Monday of the month except July and December. A tentative start date is March of 2016. Aside from board meetings, the library asks that you help spread the word about programs and services for teens at the library.
