A library card is the coolest card: September is Library Card Sign-Up Month
What makes a library card so cool? It’s absolutely free, lasts for years and provides access to so many resources. September is Library Card Sign-Up Month and the Union County Library System is encouraging Union County residents to sign up for a free library card. Getting a card is easy! Fill out an application and come to the library with photo identification and proof of address and you can get a card.
Our libraries offer access to a variety of print books and eBooks, public computers, free internet, Ancestry.com in the library, free movies, TV shows, audiobooks and music with no holds or late fees streamed from Hoopla and much more!
If you already have a library card, stop in and make sure your card has not expired. Library cards also have a 6 digit pin number. This pin number is used to sign up/login to online resources. If you need assistance with your pin number, call or visit the library.
For more information on how to sign up for a library card, visit the Public Library for Union County, Herr Memorial Library or West End Library in person or online at www. UnionCountyLibraries.org/home-page/Get-a-Card/
