On September 16 the Union County libraries are celebrating read an eBook day!
Download an eBook and share what you are reading with us on Facebook and Twitter. Use the hashtags #UCLSreads and #ebooklove.

An exciting change has happened at your local library!  Union County residents can now download eBooks and eAudiobooks from the library’s online catalog straight to their desktop computer, to an eReader, or to the Overdrive app on their mobile device.

Start by downloading the free Overdrive app to your mobile device. Then access the online catalog from our website www.unioncountylibraries.org.  For a seamless process, sign-in to the “My Account” feature using your entire library card number as your username and the last 6 digits of your library card as your pin.  Or use the EZ login you have previously created.

Overdrive items are now fully searchable in the online catalog. Search by keyword ‘Overdrive’ to identify all the titles or search by author, title, subject, genre or even keywords to find the book that’s right for you. Click the “Download” button and select the appropriate format for your device. The title checks out immediately to the library’s Overdrive account called eBranch2Go. You can choose to download your item now or later. Your Overdrive checkouts are always available in your eBranch2Go account until the two week borrowing period expires. Download your book whenever you are ready to read or listen.

Need help? The library offers free, one-on-one tech assistance. Set up a free appointment with Jeff Seebold, Technology Training Services Coordinator, by calling 570-523-1172.

Saving you time, one click at a time! Discover, checkout, or place your favorite eBooks, eAudiobooks and eResouces on hold all from within the catalog!  For more information visit any of the three public libraries in Union County: Herr Memorial Library in Mifflinburg, the Public Library for Union County in Lewisburg and the West End Library in Laurelton.
