What do I need to bring with me to the library to borrow a Home Solutions item?
Must be aged 18 or over
Be a current library member in good standing
Bring two (2) forms on identification (Acceptable forms include driver’s license, State-issued photo ID, passport, utility bill, rental lease agreement or bank statement)

Will I need to sign anything?
Yes. Anyone borrowing a Home Solutions item will be required to sign the
Home Solutions Collection Policy, Waiver and Indentification.

Why do I have to bring ID and sign papers to borrow these items?
It is requested that you sign these papers to maintain selection
of materials for use of all eligible borrowers.

Can I place a hold on a tool?
Yes, search for the items in the online catalog and click ‘Place Hold.’
Holds can be placed at all three libraries.

Where do I pick up the tools? Where do I return the tools?
All tools are to be picked up at the Public Library for Union County and returned to the Public Library for Union County. Tools may not be returned to Herr Memorial Library or West End Library. Tools may not be returned in the book or AV return boxes.

How can I request an item that the library does not offer?
Place a request for a collection addition at the circulation desk.

Does the library accept donated tools?
At this time the library does not accept donated tools. To help add tools to the collection download the library’s Catalogue of Enhancements and place a donation for Home Solutions.
