App is an easy-to-use, on the go application which allows users to explore the library catalog, view their personal account, keep up-to-date with library happenings, and much more.

Library App FAQs

How do I log in to the app for the first time?

After downloading the app, open the app. The first time you use the app, you will be asked to enter your library login and password.

Once you are logged in to the app, you will be able to see the status of your checkouts, your holds, any fees, and other account information.

Is there a Kindle version of the Library's app?

No, our new app is not currently available on Kindle devices. To access your account information on a Kindle, visit UnionCountyLibraries.org in a browser then click “My Account” in the top right corner of the page.

 

It is possible to borrow library books, magazines, and other digital items on your Kindle using Libby and Hoopla Digital (for Union County patrons only).

Can I access online resources/research databases through the app?

Online resource and research database access is not a feature of UCLS’s mobile app.
