Come run with the turkey on Thanksgiving morning for the 12th annual Mifflinburg Turkey Trot. The 5k run/walk begins at 9 am and the half-mile kids fun run at 9:45 am on Thursday, November 24 at the Mifflinburg Community Park, 131 N. 5th Street.

 

Cost is $30 to participate in the 5k run/walk  and $5 for the half-mile fun run with proceeds benefiting Herr Memorial Library and the Mifflinburg Area High School Boys Lacrosse Team.

T-shirts are only guaranteed for individuals that register before Saturday, Oct. 29. Onsite registration will be available beginning at 7:30 am the day of the race.

The first 110 kids to register for the 1/2-mile fun run will receive a free drawstring bag.

Non-perishable food donations will be collected at the start of the race and donated to local food pantries.
